IfCalc is run by Dajor Group. This page explains what the site does with data, and it is short because the site does very little with it. Where something is genuinely collected, it is named below.
What you type into a calculator never leaves your browser
Every calculator on this site runs entirely on your own device. The salary you enter, the size of your mortgage, what you have saved — none of it is sent to our servers, and none of it is stored anywhere. There is no submit step and no request behind the numbers: the arithmetic happens in the page as you type. We could not see what you entered if we wanted to.
One exception is worth knowing about. If you use a share link, the values are written into the link itself so that whoever opens it sees the same result. That link is yours to share or not, but treat it as you would any message containing those figures — anyone who has the link can read the numbers in it.
Measuring how the site is used
We count visits with our own software, running on our own server. It sets no cookies and sends nothing to any third party. For each page view it records:
- the date and time
- which page was viewed
- the site language
- the site you arrived from, if any
- whether the device is a phone, tablet or desktop
- which country the visit came from, worked out on our own server
- a short code that recognises a repeat visit within the same day
That last item deserves an explanation. It is a one-way hash of the IP address and browser, mixed with a secret that is thrown away and replaced every midnight. The IP address and the browser string are never written down — only the hash is — and because the secret behind yesterday’s hashes no longer exists, today’s code cannot be matched to yesterday’s. It tells us how many people visited, and nothing about who they are. These records are kept for up to 760 days.
Advertising
The site is paid for by advertising supplied through the Adsterra network. Advertising cookies are not set until you agree to them in the consent banner. If you decline, or simply never answer, no advertising cookies are placed and any ads shown are not based on a profile of you.
Where you do consent, Adsterra and its advertisers may use cookies to measure and serve advertising. Adsterra’s own explanation of that is in its privacy policy and its cookies policy. You can change or withdraw your answer at any time from the Cookie Policy page linked at the foot of every page.
Cookies
The consent banner stores your answer in cookies on your own device, so that you are not asked again on every page. Those cookies record which categories you agreed to and nothing else. The full list, with expiry times, is in the Cookie Policy.
The site also remembers, in your browser’s local storage, whether you have dismissed the notice offering the site in another language. That never leaves your device.
If you email us
There is no contact form on this site. If you write to hello@dajorgroup.com we keep the message so that we can reply and, where you have reported an error in a calculator, so that we can fix it and check the fix. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list, and we do not pass messages to anyone else.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period. These exist to keep the site running and secure — diagnosing faults and blocking abuse — and we do not use them to build any picture of individual visitors.
What we do not do
There are no accounts on this site and no newsletter. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for any automated decision-making or profiling. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights over personal data held about you: to see it, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how it is used, and to withdraw consent you have given. Because this site holds so little — no accounts, no calculator inputs, and measurement records that are anonymous by design — there is usually nothing held about you as an individual to retrieve. If you have emailed us, that correspondence is the exception, and you can ask us to delete it.

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top will change and the revised version will appear here.
