Every result on this site is an estimate produced from the figures you enter and the assumptions shown alongside them. Change an assumption and the answer changes — that is the point of the tools, and it is also the reason no result should be read as a forecast.

Several inputs cannot be known in advance. Resale values depend on the specific vehicle, its condition and the state of the used market when you sell. Where we supply a default, it is a reasonable typical figure, not a promise.
